to my fellow congregation members:

I've been struggling with the ghosts of my pasts. It seems so easy for me to say that I am a Christian with my mouth, but actions speak louder than words. I find it so difficult to let go of the things that I know I must let go of. This shows me that I still have a long way to go... I often feel hypocritcal because of the fact that i feel as if I am not living the lifestyle a man of God should be living. Please pray that I will be able to let go of all these worldly things and only look at God in my life.

We can only accomplish so much on our own. Yet God works wonders through His word. (2 Corinthians 5:17 "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: The old has gone. The new has come.") As long as we do our part then He will take care of the rest.
